Radiation.

Radiation can be split into 4 levels of dosage. low, medium, high and lethal. Each level adds a higher amount of Radiation (Rads) to the players Radiation level, when the player reaches 25% irradiated they begin to show early symptoms of radiation sickness, at 50% irradiated the player develops radiation sickness and then at 75%, severe radiation sickness if a player reaches 100% irradiated they die.

Tracking Radiation Levels.

Radiation levels can be easily tracked by carrying a Geiger counter with you whilst traveling the wasteland.


In Low radiation. the Geiger counter will begin to quietly click,


In Medium Radiation. the counter will loudly click and crackle,


In High Radiation. the counter will loudly crackle and it will click rapidly,


In Lethal Radiation. The counter will no longer crackle and will instead emit a loud high-pitched siren like sound whilst rapidly clicking.

Radiation Sickness Symptoms.

Stage 1. Early signs of radiation sickness. nervousness, nausea and vomiting


Stage 2. Radiation Sickness. Nervousness, confusion, nosebleeds and vomiting


Stage 3. Sever Radiation sickness. Along with other symptoms the player suffers from Loss of consciousness and sudden fatigue.


Stage 4. DEATH.

 

Removing Radiation.

Radiation can be completely Removed from the player by visiting a Doctor or Auto Doc in a Settlement or outpost and paying 750 caps. Alternatively players can  use products such as Rad-Away which will lower the players total Rads by 25%.
