Huntersville Monster.

The Huntersville Monster originaly nothing more than an urban legend was made flesh by West-Tek's experiments at their Huntersville facility. Using the FEVS-006458 strain on October 22, 2077, scientists created a stable - if horrifying mutation. Based on the snallygaster strain, researchers tweaked the genome, producing a giant that shattered the containment unit, but was otherwise stable (excepting the absence of a discernible head). The mutants were sedated and transported off-site, with the Great War sidetracking the convoy and allowing the monsters to escape into the wild.

The resulting monster is headless, hairless and has a grayish color skin with a leathery texture. It stands around 7.5 feet (2.3 meters) tall and has an oversized chest. The mutations that turned it into a powerhouse have also turned its skin and led to the development of glands that can eject globs of corrosive, oily substance in a wide area around it. The creature has a disproportionately large upper torso and arms, stumpy legs and enormous three-fingered fists. Its head is non-distinct, seemingly tucked beneath the bulk of its shoulder muscles, which makes it rather difficult to make successful headshots on the creature.

Variants.

Over time several new variants of the original monster began to spread across the Wasteland each one changed by its environment

Parasitic Monster.

This breed of monster is infected with parasites and is covered in thick vines, it makes its home in the Hub delta and can be seen roaming the streets of Old Town. Due to its damp environment and infestations of parasites this breed Is weaker than most variations.

Strangler

A variant of the original Monster covered in clusters of dark foliage and thick orange vines, this breed can be found in any densely overgrown areas. Blending in with its environment the strangler is a deadly foe capable of using its thick vines to entangle its target and choke the life from them.

Scorched monster

This Breed of monster hunts in the scorched desert, the sun has burnt and charred its skin leaving it extremely tough and the lack of available food means this strain Attacks with deadly ferocity. Easily the most dangerous variant of the original monster, the scorched monster should be avoided at all cost.
