Horses are a quadrupedal mammal, they are remarkably similar to those of the pre-war world. But the harsh new environment has made them noticeably stronger and faster, some horses can even go days or weeks without food or water. 

Horses can be found living in wild herds across the Wasteland and have been domesticated by various factions and groups.
