Sand Shark.

Created by mistake when scientists attempted to splice sharks with spike Crested Lizards, the Sand shark is a deadly predator perfectly adapted  to life in the Scorch desert. They lie in wait beneath the sand dunes using tremors to hunt down unwary prey, curiously sand sharks dont bore or tunnel but actually swim through the sand using their streamlined body and a layer of slippery mucus. They can often be seen by their dorsal fins raised out of the sand. Sand sharks often leap from the sand latching onto prey with their razor sharp teeth and drag them below the dunes suffocating their prey before devouring them.
