Established in 2091, before belonging to the Van Graff family, the Silver Rush was a Thriving Casino inside The Hub. For unknown reasons, the Silver Rush attracted the ire of the Van Graffs who killed its former occupants and then set up shop. When the Ruling Vault dwellers showed up to protest, the Van Graffs reduced several of them to goo and the two have left each other alone ever since. Once opened, the Silver Rush was headed by Frieda Van Graff for awhile, but Frieda soon left the Silver Rush to pursue personal interests. After Frieda's departure, Gloria Van Graff and Jean-Baptiste Cutting were assigned to heading the Silver Rush. Now that the Silver Rush is no longer a casino, and instead an energy weapons market, its proximity to the Atomic Wrangler attracts customers.As one would expect, the Silver Rush is not lacking in security; those caught attempting to steal are used as a cheaper alternative to target dummies.
