Equipment you use in the wasteland such as weapons, armour and tools all have a Durability score. this score measures the amount of attacks your weapons make, how many hits your armour can take or how many uses your tools can make before the item fails.

It’s rare to find an item that’s fully functional in the wasteland, so most pieces of equipment you find or buy will be at 75% or less durability. As an items durability wears down you will start to notice faults, at 70% your piece of equipment  will develop its first fault then a second fault at 30% if an item reaches 0 durability it is considered Broken and cannot be used until it is repaired.
