Trade Caravans.

Caravans are the Lifeblood of the wasteland, crossing through treacherous woodlands and irradiated rivers, fighting off raiders and wildlife. The Brave men and women working on the caravan lines risk life and limb to keep the settlements supplied with Fresh food, Weapons, ammunition and medical supplies.
Caravaner’s are specialist Merchants capable of establishing new supply routes and negotiating the best deal. They are also capable of Avoiding the various Perils of the wasteland and Plotting Routes to quickly Reach nearby settlements

When creating a Caravaner character here are some things to consider.
where did your character comes from?
What made you join Cassidy caravans,
were you a lone merchant?
What happened to the rest of your caravan group?
What is your characters place in the world?
What is your goal?

Trait.

You can pick one Trait from the list below that best suits your character, or roll 1D6 to randomly choose.


1. I’ll pick up anything I think I can sell even if it looks like junk.
2. I’ve spent so long working alone I’m not used to traveling with others.
3. As soon as I reach a settlement my first thought is to sell my wares.
4. I spend so long earning my caps, I hate parting with them.
5. I constantly speak like I’m making a cheery sales pitch.
6. all I care about is making money.

Ideal.

You can pick one ideal from the list below that best suits your character, or roll 1D6 to randomly choose.


1. A Bargain. If there is a deal to be had, I will find it.
2. Information. The contacts that I make and the secrets that I learn are more valuable than goods that I sell.
3. Luxury. What good is wealth if it can’t get me the best of everything?
4. Honesty. If you can’t trust a salesman, who can you trust?
5. Open Trade. The right of caravan companies and guilds to limit what goods can be traded is a form of tyranny that must be stopped.
6. One-upmanship. Finishing ahead of my competition is my only goal.

1. You are distrustful of a faction and will not do business with them if you can help it.
2. You are easily influenced by a down-on-their-luck customer with a sad story and are prone to giving away products or selling them at a loss to help people.
3. You are prone to overpromising your customers when discussing your ability to provide certain products within a limited timeframe.
4. You are quick to assume that everyone is trying to swindle you.
5. You believe that almost everyone else, even those of higher social rank, is beneath you and you treat others with respect only out of necessity.
6. The only thing that you value is profit. You would sell your mother to Raiders if they offered you the right price.
